NMNH (Reduced β-Nicotinamide Mononucleotide)

NAD⁺ Boost · Cellular Protection · Anti-Aging & Metabolic Support

Appearance: Yellowish powder
CAS No.: 108347-85-9
Molecular Formula: C₁₁H₁₆N₂O₈P

01Product Description

β-Nicotinamide mononucleotide, reduced form

NMNH (Reduced β-Nicotinamide Mononucleotide) is the reduced form of β-NMN, appearing as a pale yellow to yellow powder. Research shows that compared with NMN or NR, NMNH can raise cellular NAD⁺ levels faster and to a higher concentration, via metabolic pathways independent of NRK and NAMPT, representing a novel NAD⁺ supplementation strategy.

In hypoxia/reoxygenation injury models, NMNH significantly alleviates renal tubular epithelial cell damage and accelerates repair, demonstrating excellent cytoprotective capacity. Large-scale production of NMNH is commercially available.

Advantages

Freeze-Drying Technology

Manufactured via freeze-drying under low temperature and vacuum. Effectively prevents thermal degradation, fully preserves chemical structure and biological activity, and yields a porous, highly soluble powder.

High Purity

HPLC purity reaches 98.0%, meeting requirements for research and premium nutritional product development.

Low Moisture

Moisture content controlled at 2.2%, supporting long-term storage and formulation stability.

Strict Quality Control

Heavy metals (Pb, As, Hg, Cd) and microbiological parameters comply with GB standards, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

Scalable Production

Single batch capacity up to 80 kg, enabling stable mass production and reliable commercial supply.

03Product Functions and Mechanisms

Rapid & Potent NAD⁺ Elevation

NMNH converts to NAD⁺ rapidly in cells and tissues through non-NRK/NAMPT-dependent pathways, delivering significantly faster and greater NAD⁺ increases than NMN and NR.

Cellular Protection & Repair

In hypoxia/reoxygenation (H/R) injury models, NMNH markedly reduces renal tubular epithelial cell damage, promoting cell survival and functional recovery.

Metabolic Regulation & Anti-Aging Support

By strongly boosting NAD⁺ levels, NMNH supports mitochondrial function and metabolic homeostasis, ideal for healthy aging and cellular energy management formulations.

04Applications

Dietary Supplements: Capsules and formulations for NAD⁺ enhancement, cellular energy support, and healthy aging.

Functional Skincare: Anti-aging masks, serums, and topicals leveraging cytoprotection and NAD⁺ metabolic regulation.

Research Reagents: Novel NAD⁺ precursor for NAD⁺ metabolism studies, cellular energetics, and pathological model interventions.

07Frequently Asked Questions

How does NMNH differ from NMN?

NMNH is the reduced form of β-NMN. It converts to NAD⁺ through pathways independent of NRK and NAMPT, and published research reports faster and higher NAD⁺ elevation than either NMN or NR.

What is the CAS number and specification?

CAS 108347-85-9, supplied as a yellowish powder at 95% minimum purity (HPLC, 340 nm), with single-batch capacity up to 80 kg.

What storage conditions does NMNH require?

Sealed, light-proof and dry at 0°C–4°C; for long-term storage, -15°C to -20°C frozen is recommended. Shelf life is 24 months. Cold-chain shipping can be arranged.

How do I order or request a COA?
